Kathrein’s real-time location system (RTLS) is a superior technology that detects the current geolocation of a target, be it a person, vehicle or an item in a manufacturing plant. The unique combination of UWB with RAIN RFID and NFC technology, allow an easy and seamless integration into the existing RFID infrastructure. Based on long-term experience in RTLS solutions, Kathrein developed its own line of UWB (Ultra-Wide Band) based RTLS in 2019, which has been successfully deployed since.
